measuring progress

Along with setting goals, developing an effective treatment plan, and employing the most effective techniques, I believe it is also important to evaluate our progress using whatever measurements are most appropriate to the situation. Measurements may include range of motion, pain levels on a numeric scale, shifts in emotional states, or movements and manifestations in life, work and relationships. How the work progresses against these measurements, may indicate periodic reassessment and redirection of the work.
